On February 6, 2026, SGS, a globally recognized testing, inspection and certification organization, awarded XHEART (Suzhou) Technology Co., Ltd. an AEC-Q100 verification certificate and China's first SEMI TRUST MARK for its X7 intelligent driving assistance SoC. The awards recognize the chip's reliability and quality management for automotive applications. The first such mark issued in mainland China also signals progress in semiconductor standardization and reliability verification.

A highlight of the project is China's first SEMI TRUST MARK, awarded to the X7 chip. Based on SEMI international standards, the mark is granted after rigorous SGS review and carries a unique identifier for transparent, trustworthy quality traceability. For the semiconductor industry, it addresses a gap in trust verification that conventional testing does not cover. It can help supply chains establish a common trust mechanism, improve purchasing efficiency and reduce component selection risk. For chip companies, the mark independently recognizes technology and quality. It can also help them enter mid- to high-end markets, strengthen their brands and customer trust, and improve product differentiation and market standing.

For AEC-Q100 verification, SGS completed 16 reliability tests covering Groups A, B, C and E, including accelerated environmental stress, accelerated lifetime simulation, package reliability and electrical characteristics. High-temperature operating life (HTOL) testing used HPB-5C equipment to simulate long-term operation in demanding high-temperature conditions. EMC testing used a GTEM system at maximum power consumption. Across these tests, X7 demonstrated durability, stability and environmental robustness.

SGS supported XHEART throughout the project, from initial consultation and test planning through parallel verification programs and final delivery. Rapid scheduling, real-time communication and close coordination shortened the test cycle and reduced development risk. SGS's team addressed the multidimensional test requirements of a complex, high-compute chip to keep verification on track.

As intelligent driving and semiconductor technologies advance, demand for chip reliability and supply-chain trust continues to grow. The two awards recognize X7's technical capabilities and reflect SGS's work to advance standardization and quality in China's semiconductor industry. SGS plans to continue using its global technical network and local services to support semiconductor and automotive electronics companies with quality and reliability verification.
