On October 22, XHEART CEO Li Zonglin and his team visited Shenlong Technology’s Wuhan headquarters and met with Cheng Jun, the company’s Party Secretary and Deputy General Manager. They discussed progress in chip cooperation, plans for next-generation products, and applications in vehicles for global markets. Shenlong Technology has selected XHEART chips. The two sides will work together on intelligent vehicles under the Peugeot and Jeep® brands and expand into markets in China, Europe, and elsewhere worldwide.

The meeting focused both on current projects and on a longer-term technology roadmap for the AI Car. Drawing on vehicle development needs and chip product plans, the two sides discussed how hardware–software co-design could support continual upgrades in intelligent driving and explored applications from L2++ to L4.

As large models are adopted in more vehicles, automotive computing platforms must meet the production needs of today’s models while accommodating future model iterations and feature upgrades. Across global markets, differences in road conditions, user habits, and each brand’s driving character place greater demands on the coordination of chips, models, and vehicles.

XHEART follows the principle that large models define chips. It designs chips around the real operating needs of models and uses hardware–software co-design to improve computing efficiency. Together with Shenlong Technology’s vehicle development and global product plans, the two sides will advance chip applications and explore next-generation computing platforms to support intelligent upgrades for Peugeot and Jeep® vehicles.

Cheng Jun, Party Secretary and Deputy General Manager of Shenlong Technology, said: “We value XHEART’s hardware–software co-design approach. Its future product portfolio is closely aligned with our technology roadmap. For the AI Car, we need a computing platform that supports current mass production and future upgrades. We look forward to exploring applications from L2++ to L4 together and delivering a better intelligent driving experience to users worldwide.”

XHEART CEO Li Zonglin said: “Shenlong Technology’s global vehicle plans create broad opportunities for large-model chips. Starting from the needs of the vehicle, we will use hardware–software co-design to bring current projects into mass production and plan next-generation products together, taking large-model chips developed in China to global markets with the Peugeot and Jeep® brands.”
